But she adds that her own research, as well as line-by-line training by her voice coach, Penny Dyer, has given her confidence with Shakespeare. ‘I was asking about this iambic pentameter thing, “Oh God, is it meant to be said in a rhythm?” But actually the way he writes it’s already in that rhythm.’ She laughs. ‘He was a pretty clever man.’
